This Privacy Policy applies to www.lagom-naering.com and all D2C purchase flows operated by European Bowls Private Limited, registered at No. 21, 4th Cross, Vivekananda Nagar, Bommanahalli, Bangalore 560068, Karnataka ("Lagom Næring", "we", "us").

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place. Payment processing is via Razorpay's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. Data breaches will be notified per DPDP Act 2023 timelines.

Children

Our site is not directed at anyone under 18. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has provided us data.

Acceptance

By accessing www.lagom-naering.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. They constitute a legally binding agreement between you and European Bowls Private Limited.

Who may purchase

You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law.

Products

Nordic seed crackers (knäckebröd) in 125g packs across three variants: Classico, Rosemary, and Red Chilli. Manufactured at our FSSAI-licensed kitchen in Bangalore. Minor variation in colour or appearance between batches is inherent to our natural process and does not constitute a defect.

Pricing

All prices in Indian Rupees (₹), inclusive of all applicable taxes (GST at 18% on HSN 1905). No hidden charges beyond the delivery fee shown at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices; the price at the time of order is the price you pay.

Orders and contract formation

A binding purchase contract is formed at the point of successful payment — not when items are added to cart. Order confirmation is sent by email and/or SMS within 24 hours. We may cancel an order for stock, pricing error, or operational reasons, in which case a full refund is issued within 5–7 business days.

Payment

Processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. (PCI-DSS compliant). We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets. No Cash on Delivery. We do not store your payment credentials.

Cancellation by you

Within 2 hours of placement, provided the order has not been dispatched. Email info@lagom-naering.com with your order number. Refund within 5–7 business days. Post-dispatch, see Returns Policy.

Food safety and shelf life

Consume within the date on packaging. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, consume within 5–7 days. We are not liable for deterioration from improper storage after delivery.

Intellectual property

All content — name, brand mark, photography, copy, design — is the property of European Bowls Private Limited, protected under Indian copyright and trademark law. No reproduction or commercial exploitation without prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.

Governing law

Governed by the laws of India. Disputes first referred to our Grievance Officer; if unresolved within 30 days, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Where we ship

Pan-India to all serviceable pincodes via Shiprocket. We do not ship internationally. Remote pincodes (Zone E: North-East states, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar) may carry additional charges — shown at checkout before payment.

Processing time

Orders before 12:00 PM IST on a business day are dispatched the same day. After 12 PM, or on weekends and public holidays, dispatched the next business day.

Transit times from dispatch date. Add 0–1 business days for processing. Times are estimates; actual delivery may vary due to courier operations, weather, or force majeure.

Shipping charges

Calculated at checkout based on pincode, weight, and dimensions. Flat delivery fee of ₹60 on all orders. Free shipping on orders above ₹599 (all zones).

Tracking

SMS and/or email with tracking link sent on dispatch. Track using your AWB number on the courier's website. For tracking support: info@lagom-naering.com with your order number.

Failed delivery

Three delivery attempts are made. After three failures, the shipment is returned to us (RTO). We will contact you to arrange re-dispatch; additional shipping charges apply. We cannot refund shipping costs for incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Damaged in transit

Photograph the package before opening and email photos within 48 hours of delivery to info@lagom-naering.com. We arrange a free replacement. See Returns Policy for full details.

Corporate gifting orders

Please confirm required delivery dates at order time. Place gifting orders at least 5–7 business days before required date (10+ days for outside Zones A–C). We are not liable for delays caused by courier operations after dispatch.

Our policy in plain terms

We sell fresh, perishable food. For hygiene and food safety reasons, we do not accept returns of opened or consumed products. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace it at no cost.

Eligible for replacement or refund

  • Damaged in transit — packaging crushed, torn, or seal broken on arrival
  • Defective product — inedible, stale, or off smell/taste on first opening within best-before date
  • Wrong item received — e.g. ordered Rosemary, received Chilli
  • Missing item — item from a multi-pack or gifting order not included
  • Non-delivery — marked delivered but not received
  • Cancelled before dispatch — within the 2-hour window in our Terms

Not covered

  • Change of mind after order is placed or delivered
  • Dislike of flavour or texture
  • Crackers gone soft due to improper storage after delivery
  • Damage caused by the customer after delivery
  • Orders with incorrect address provided by the customer
Food products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Per Rule 2(1)(b) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, sellers of perishable goods may restrict returns on hygiene grounds, provided this is clearly disclosed before purchase — which it is.

How to raise a request

  1. Email info@lagom-naering.com within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include your order number and a brief description
  3. Attach photographs of damaged/defective/incorrect item and packaging
  4. We acknowledge within 48 hours
  5. Replacement dispatched in 3–5 business days, or refund issued in 5–7 business days to your original payment method

Card and debit refunds may take an additional 2–5 business days depending on your bank. Our default remedy is a replacement; request a refund instead at any time.

Gifting orders

Claims for damaged or missing hampers must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We prioritise resolution of gifting order complaints.
